life. is. busy.

Wow. In the past week, Patrick and I have moved, painted, unpacked, set up, cleaned, and had a party. It's crazy to think we're in our own little place. We've already had a sleepover with Hudson. Let's just say that was wonderfully hysterical as we all crammed into Patrick's and my bed. I was the lucky one that was smooshed in the middle all night.

Anyway. I don't have AFTER pictures yet, because I just haven't gotten the last details up. So, I want to wait until it's "just right."

There's something about coming "home" that is sweet and comfortable. Home, where I grew up, is filled with yummy smells, loud voices, joyful spirits, and love. Home, where I just moved, is full of new things, quiet moments, and the beginning of forever. It really is a sweet thing to have two places so close together that just feel right.

The cold weather has hit us, and, though the temperature rose this mornin, tomorrow it is going to be even colder than it's ben in a long while. Something about snow and winter is magical, but there's something about pure sunshine and ocean air that is just so close to being absolutely perfect.

I sometimes wonder what it will be like when our house is full. You know, no quietness, no stopping to just read for thirty minutes since there's silence, no bottles of soda that last a week instead of a day....

This post may seem random, but I haven't been on in so long to write. So, it's juat all coming out randomly...

God is good. God has been good to me my whole life. I'm revelling in that today...
