Let's just say the gum drop making process was hysterical. From the pan bubbling over like I mixed two very wrong chemicals, to the cleaning up half of the goo that spilled, to cutting out the cute little squares. What I had initially thought was going to be the hardest part, is, in fact, the EASIEST part. Next time, I really want to try cookie cutter shapes! And, maybe figure out how to make them sour like gummy worms! So fun!

 

Anyway, today, Patrick and I were lazy.... having fun just hanging out before going to get the peaches that I forgot for peach pie. Then we went to Sonic.... just for fun! And we drove around after, found a new hiking trail I want to try out. And.... now we're home again.

Just got in from trying to make Patrick's homemade ice rink for his RC car. It failed a little. I must say... he gives up easily... but i'm going to try to make this thing work. Turns out the yard is WAY to unlevel. We have to figure out a way to get the water to spread over the thing evenly.... hmmm...

Anyway, Merry Christmas. Make some gumdrops. And then.... eat them all!!
