It is amazing how time flies by when you're having fun... and when you're being a mother, wife, sister, daughter, cleaning lady, and Daughter of the Most High God! It seems like yesterday I was holding the tiny 7lb. 4oz. baby girl that God graciously blessed us with. Yet, even as I type this, she is being crazy with her Auntie M, blowing bubbles and jumping in her jumper suspended from the doorway.
I was reminded in church this morning of how wonderful the God I serve is! He provided Jesus to be my High Priest. My savior. My Redeemer. And, He has given me much! I am rich... truly rich in the blessings of the Lord!
So, I sit here typing. It is my goal to at least post once a month... and this month has gotten away from me! She is growing leaps and bounds, my Little Miss. She is constantly on to the next thing. Lately, it's been getting faster and faster and faster at crawling. And, just this morning, she stood up in her crib for the first time. We have been working at staying seated in her old vintage crib, so I guess the training will have to continue tomorrow! She loves food... not baby food. Real food. We eat fruits and sandwiches and soft veggies (like mashed potatoes). Currently, Ramona, the cat, and Little Miss are best friends. They occasionally touch noses together like that is how a baby/cat relationship is supposed to work... other times B is constantly trying to catch up to an elusive Ramona.
We are looking forward to spring with all our might. We want to crawl in the grass and get muddy and dig in the dirt to plant new things. We look forward to a few trips to the ocean, where Little Miss will be introduced to the sea, sand, and sun! Mommy can't wait.... not even one minute!
In a few weeks, we will be getting a new baby cousin. Over across the ocean in Bermuda, a little baby "No Name" will be born and we can't wait to see pictures of his cute face!
It's time to get off of this silly computer. Life is more important... who knows, if I stayed on here longer, she might start walking without me knowing!
