so, we run around from day to day. We have two second breaks in the middle of hours worth of lecture or work. but, what really matters? in the long run, do the color of our pants or length of our papers matter in light of eternity? what about the time spent worrying about meeting deadlines or simply name calling because it seems easier than coping with reality?
what if we set aside all our inhibitions? what if we threw away all our judgments? what if... we ran to Christ with an open heart? Our perspectives would be turned around. trivial matters wouldn't consume out thoughts. God would be greater in our lives, His glory would shine.
So, right now... in light of eternity... reflect on what matters. what if you reach out to one person that gets on your nerves a little? What if you hug the hurting? what if you really truly asked someone about their life? And, what if you took the time to actively pursue the things that matter? it could change the world...
chase the things that matter. and don't give up until you touch lives and live righteously...
