YAY!

... I officially have two more finals this week. One at 1:45 that only requires me voicing my opinion about American Literature. And, one tomorrow morning at 8 AM that requires all sorts of studying, but seeing as how I just got out of a final and I have little brain power left, I'm writing. :)

Lauren is singing "How Great is Our God" out in the hall. Have I mentioned she has a fabulous voice? Well, she does. Vacuums are on, people are cleaning, and leaving for the summer. In just about 22 hours, I will be doing the same. But, I'm reserving packing and cleaning for Thursday since I'm still in finals mode.

Here I sit. In 2 days, I will be an alum of this college. I will have accomplished a bachelor's degree. The first child of my family to do so... it's an accomplishment. I'll receive an accolade or two.

But, here's my personal goal of accomplishment: I want to be a voice for Christ. In 2 days, I will not be inside a Bible College any longer. I will be in the world, but not of it. I will be His voice, for His glory.

I will miss Marissa leaving every last piece of her belongings in my room and then running back in 5 minutes later to scoop it all up because she forgot where she put it. I will miss Lauren's singing. I will miss classes with Dr. Hicks and the music in chapels and sitting with Alexis in chapels. But, I'm just going to have to create new memories with those people (minus Dr. Hicks) at my house with my new husband. It will be fabulous.

I often ponder what the world would be like if we all got out in the world... you know, not just SAY we want to do something for God, but actually DO something for God. I think we'd have a lot more orphanages, adoptions, relief efforts, and more souls would be saved. I'm going to DO something with my life for God. just watch me. :)
