this week.

Tonight, I celebrated my "adopted" nanny's birthday with her family and friends. She turned 75 years old, and declared that having kids at her party instead of "old people" was way better! She is so dear to my heart.... not to mention, a bunch of other college-aged and high school-aged kids! It was great to be there. To celebrate. To laugh. To love.

I am amazed at what God does in every circumstance. There are so many things that we take for granted. And, right now, I am thinking of two sweet, strong girls. Their mother is in the hospital. They just discovered she had cancer, and she had surgery right away. It's not all gone though. Life seems grim. But, God has a purpose that none of us quite understand. There's a reason that their mom is in the hospital. There's a reason that they had no clue she had cancer until a random check up. There's a reason. All we can do is pray. for Katie and Karyn. for their parents. They need it.

I got to see my best friend last Monday. We had the best time. We played and read books and did half of a puzzle and cuddled and watched t.v. and played games. We played hide and go seek from William. It was the best day. i love her.

speaking of best friends. My best friend in the whole world is away, therefore my bed is cold since I'm the only one in it. But, my other best friend is coming tomorrow to watch girls movies and bake cookies. What a week!!! Time with all my favorites! :)
