gray clouds and blue oceans

This morning I got up at 5:55 so that I could shower and get ready before a meeting I had at 7 AM. It was a sweet time of talking with one of the missionaries named Erica. After the time we (me, Kelly, and Erica) spent together, Kelly and I got our books and went to the ocean to sit and read. We were there for a few hours from 8:30-10:30. It's beautiful... the water is crystal blue as far as I can see. And, even though the sun wasn't really shining, it was still such a beautiful sight. The gray clouds just blew over our heads for 2 hours until it started raining. So, we walked back to the complex and got pretty wet on the way. We saw beautiful red crabs walking on a stone wall... it was wonderful.

This afternoon, I'm going to a village with Erica and her family. hey have a little church service and time for children there every Tuesday. It will be nice to get in one of the villages, since that is one of my favorite parts of this island.

Anyway, I'm going to get part of my hair braided by one of the Dominican girls who lives here on the complex. Her name is Zuleika... I just need to get this hair out of my face! :)

alright, well... I see God's hands everywhere I turn... here and at home. I am so thankful for a loving God who desires to meet all of our needs.
