Today was a very long day. But, it was a GOOD, long day. I ran with hundreds of kids in villages where there is an established church and pastor. After the group sang songs and did puppets, the kids sang songs for them. It was SOOO loud... but, SOOO wonderful. :) The second villages we went to was on the side of a river... a lot of the kids i played with were lighter than usual and had ringlet curls and green eyes. They were beautiful... simply beautiful. On the other side of the river, all the rich people live. The contrast is so huge that it's actually hard to believe how the people live in one room shacks with at least 6 people in it and on the other side of the river it's a whole different world. Each person in those mansion-like houses probably have their own bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen for each person!! yet, those green eyed, beautiful village children were beaming as puppets sang in spanish and they were given punch balls... it makes me wonder why the average person cannot be satisfied and happy as those who have nothing...

I have one day left. I'm coming home to everyone i love!!!! I will never forget this place... or the people... or how dear to my heart this country is. But, i'm ready for what God has next. I'm ready to embrace what comes... are you ready?
