mmm... yummy, fresh-picked berries...
turned into pie (yes, i was being a busy cooking woman today)
i just love how the berries look whilst covered in sugar and flour...
it reminds me of Christmas or candy or sparkly somethings.
ready for the oven.
i will tell you that i JUST pulled it outta the oven and besides a few minor leaks around the edges from not being sealed correctly, it looks like... joyful, happy, beautiful, potentially addicting moments of bliss are coming soon.
today was a busy day full of shopping for food, making a cake, a pie, burgers, picking blueberries with my cousins and aunt, and cleaning. i don't even have kids yet, but every time i turn around in this house, i feel like there is more to clean.
it's time to go rest... my feet need it.
today i am thankful for God's love and mercy and faithfulness.
today i am thankful for best friends.
today i am thankful for Patrick. he's the best ever.
