a little inspiration.

today, i received the CUTEST note ever!! it was inside a shoebox, buried in pink tissue paper.

here's a little excerpt: "Mama says, 'You are always a princess, even when you are doing regular stuff. Love, Miracle Rose.'"

oh boy, what a FABULOUS reminder today as I drove around doing "regular stuff" like trying to find a job! I am a daughter of the King... and that makes me a princess. I don't have to be dressed in pretty dresses with sparkly jewelry or anything like that (though, I admit at twenty-one, it IS rather fun).

so, the rest of today, I will be a princess. Perhaps a princess baking something for my husband, or one that plays some more with my little brother, or maybe a princess who enjoys the outside, or maybe a laundry folding princess. I am actually considering all four at the moment.

today i read some more about Abraham. He was still Abram. He chose to save Lot when he didn't have to. As a result, God said that he would be blessed, and his family would multiply. The people would receive all the land. Abram asked God how it was possible and God's reply?? "don't worry, I'll take care of it all (my version)." that's what i'm banking on today...
