Mali and Brinkley

today's message was called "The coat of compassion." it was one message of several about Joseph's life. it really WAS about compassion... which is what my heart longs to be full of.
However, it also included a big chunk about honesty. Which, apparently, had a great impact upon our family. things have been coming out of people's mouths today (in honest fashion) about what has and hasn't happened. And, my mother is using the message to her advantage with the two youngest members of the family. it's amazing how conviction works.
so, i'm going to be honest about today. :)
honestly, today, it's cold and all i want to do is cuddle up by a fire or something. honestly, today, i am missing the house i do not have. honestly, today, i am thinking about Christmas and all the sparkly and beautiful things about it. honestly, today, i am missing kindred spirits in the form of my two bestest friends. honestly, today, i am thankful for freedom and life and mercy. honestly, today, i am missing my two girls in the Dominican, Mali Shae and Brinkley Kate. honestly, today, i am ready to rest on this Sunday. honestly, today, i don't think much of that resting will happen, since i don't normally stop moving for very long.
I can't find my sweatpants. I think they're in the tupperware bins that contain all my fall and winter clothing. I packed them several months ago so we could move into our place without too much packing on this end. I don't want to go find them, so I'm praying the house stuff moves along quicker than anyone thinks it will.
honesty is the best policy.
Honestly I miss you and reading your blog makes me feel like I'm right there with you! Love ya girlie!
