it might be for the last time until next June, but summer is here again! The warm temperature warmed my bones today as I sat outside watching my favorite 6 year old score 2 goals! the little sunglass wearing blonde on his team was like, "Hudson, you scored all the goals today! Thanks so much!" hahaha... he didn't score all of them, but their team DID win for the first time!! woo hoo!
i'm thankful for this summery day, with the fall colors hitting the hills. Summer reminds me of all that is sweet and good. I think summer is the closest we'll ever get to knowing how heaven will feel (temperature wise). I have no doubt in my mind that it will NOT be cold like winter and there won't be any rain. it's going to be beautiful, like today, but even more so!
well, it's been a tiring week (for good reasons), but we still have things going on tonight and tomorrow. So, i'd better go get some laundry done... it's kind of necessary.
